We celebrated our 11th anniversary this month. Thanks to grandparents who are probably still recovering, we had us a little weekend away at an old historic inn in a cool mountain town.
It was the kind of town where you could enjoy an elegant dinner in a 1920's restaurant, have crepes in the town square, or - if you need something a little rowdier - you could walk a few doors down to the Lizard's Lounge where the sign over the door reads "Sense of Humor Required."
I was thinking about getting one of those signs for my front door at home : )

yeah! Congrats! I'm so glad you got to go away without the kiddos! We are trying to do that for our anniversary next month....hopefully we can make it work....it sounds like a dream to me!!
