"I Hope You Brought Jesus With You"

Those words greeted my husband today when he went to be with a family member at the hospital.

It was a recognition that in a dark and uncertain situation, Jesus offers hope and peace in a very real way that nothing else can.

And it reminds me that so often as Christians we try to be just like every one else in the world, forgetting that world is desperately looking for something different.

I suspect that even though we can't hear it, there are hurting people all around us who would say, "I hope you brought Jesus with you."

Have a blessed day. And don't forget to bring Jesus with you.

We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us. - 2 Cornithians 5:20
