For the month of August, our family has been keeping a record of answered prayers, big and small, to help us keep our eyes open to what God is doing all around us. The list is getting pretty long, and after our follow-up visit with Josh's surgeon today, we have one more item to add to the list: The hole in his palate closed up on it's own and it is completely healed!
In the next six months or so, Joshua has some major dental work and a nose surgery to look forward to, but thankfully no more palate repairs! The doctor said his palate is very strong now and there is nothing he can do to hurt it. I think we may have to break out the potato chips to celebrate : )
