That's how old I turn this month.
Really, I suppose it's kind of silly to put the question mark in the one's place. That's not the number that bothers me. It's the number in the ten's place.
Am I really in my 30's? I remember when I was a kid, there was the TV show on called Thirty-Something. I never watched it because it just looked like a bunch of old, boring people, but now I think, that is me now!
I don't feel old. Unless you consider the fact that I now read the grocery ads with as much interest as I used to read Teen Magazine.
My mother-in-law and I usually celebrate our birthdays together and she always jokes that she wants to trade ages with me. This year, I heard my kids telling her, "...but, Grandma, our mom is old. She has a LOT of gray hairs!"
My kids may not realize this, but I was once young and cool. And what's more, I have the pictures to prove it:
Stop laughing, that's what you looked like in the 80's too.

ok, what did i do to deserve this??? you could have cropped me and my sun-in hair out of this picture!
happy birthday! :)
This is hilarious - mostly because I know that I was right there with you. Remember the matching dance dresses with Amanda? I ran across that photo not long ago and almost wet my pants laughing. :)
Ah, well... you're not alone with the gray hairs and old lady attitude...
OH MY!!! Angie, your friend stole my 80s hair! LOL
so i've been thinking... do you think mom kept a straight face while taking this picture? i mean you don't look NEARLY as bad as i do. but it kinda reminds me of when my kids come out and have dressed themselves and are so proud and i pretend like i'm really proud of them too, and want to take a picture but its more because i'm laughing hysterically on the inside at their choice.
i wonder if it was kinda like that.
You were cool Angie...and you still are. I hope you had a great birthday! Love ya!
I officially turn the big 3-0 this year. I always thought age was just a number-no big deal. Well, this year feels a little different. . .I'm having a bit of a mid-life crisis, actually. : )
Love the pic, and you're right. We ALL looked like that in the 80's!
