This Halloween, we had a few children come to our house to trick-or-treat and more than a few teenagers knocking on our door looking for candy. I won't comment on the appropriateness of teenagers trick-or-treating since someone I am married to did it well into his high school years, but I will say this about Halloween etiquette: Cell phone conversations should be completed before you knock on the door. You should at least hang up long enough to say "trick-or-treat."
Besides candy, here are a few of our favorite things about fall:

And cozy fires to take the chill off...
Football season...
Getting to enjoy the outdoors again, with hiking trips...
And camping trips deep in the wilds of ... the backyard!
