...And Waiting

Our bags our packed (well, mostly), the crib is set up, toddler clothes unpacked, and still no travel approval. This is definitely the longest "pregnancy" I've ever had - the other ones at least had due dates I could mark on my calendar.

Because of the childcare arrangements for our older kids, there were some dates we were really hoping to travel, but it looks like we are going to miss those dates now. We know that God has us right where he wants us now for whatever reason and so we are learning to trust his timing.

Meanwhile, here are some pictures from a hike we took this weekend up Silly Mountain. All of the rain left the mountain covered in wildflowers and it was absolutely gorgeous. Parts of the trail were incredibly steep, but our kids were amazing hikers.
